The Sound of Glass
'The Sound of Glass' (2021) focuses inwards, exploring the sound of the process of making. Each piece embodies a different sound element within creating. Recording the sound of the actions of production, I then created visual scores to embody them. Each piece represents a different element within my process of making. Playing with light, transparency and print, the natural accidental sounds of the xerox machine become a soundtrack of making. Physically inscribing and marking the sounds into the glass, the sound of actions binds these pieces to their process. Sound is constantly being transformed and moulded into different beings.
